They darkened up quite a bit, but I can’t wait for the orange dream to kick in after a few sheds! Click on the image to go to the gallery page for more pictures of them.
Here’s the orange dream vanilla female I produced next to an orange dream male for comparison. I’m really liking the way this girl is turning out!
Clutch 16 is out and it’s one I’ve been waiting to hatch since 2010 when I got my first orange dream! I’ve been moving towards producing a black pastel/orange dream/pinstripe combo for the past four years and on my one shot to do it this year not only did I hatch one, but I hatched TWO! Feast your eyes on the shattered dream!
This is a shot of him next to a black pastel pinstripe from the same clutch…
Orange dream enchi and super vanilla pastel… love the extreme colors on these two! On a side note, it always blows my mind to hear someone say they don’t care for vanilla. I’ll take a nice vanilla over a fire any day, if you tried to make this with a fire you’ll just end up with a white snake!
Orange dream enchi after her first shed… SO hot. Can’t wait to see this girl in a couple of years. 😀
I’ve been slacking off on producing het clown stuff for the past few years but I’m finally moving in the right direction! In addition to the enchi het clowns I hatched out earlier this season, I just hatched out a male Barnhart black pastel yellowbelly and a female Barnhart black pastel — both het for clown! 😀
Clutch number 12 is fully hatched! This pairing was my smoking pastel vanilla male to a very nice vanilla female. Results are 1.2 super vanilla pastels, 0.2 vanilla pastels, 1.0 pastel, 1.1 vanillas, and 1.0 normal. All but the female super vanilla pastels will available from this clutch.
Clutch 11 (orange dream pinstripe X enchi) is all out! Final tally is 1.0 od pin, 1.0 enchi pin, 1.0 enchi, 1.0 pin, and 0.1 od enchi. Figures that the one animal I actually wanted to be a male is the only one that isn’t! Just one more girl to raise up I guess. 😉
The orange dream vanilla female that I hatched out just had her second shed! The orange dream fire has an advantage right now being that orange dreams get brighter with each shed and she’s already past her third shed. I’m pretty happy with how the vanilla combo turned out, and can’t wait to see her after another couple of sheds! From left to right: orange dream, orange dream vanilla, orange dream fire.
Couple of holdback girls just shed… orange dream fire and Barnhart black pastel lesser. 😀
Thought this was a cool little comparison/progression picture. From left to right: pinstripe, orange dream pinstripe, orange dream pinstripe fire.
Couple of comparison photos from clutch number two! The first image is a pair of Barnhart black pastel lessers with a Barnhart black pastel yellowbelly lesser in the middle. Second image is a lesser yellowbelly next to a lesser. All three are combos that I haven’t seen very often…
Clutch number ten! This good looking lemonblast is part of a joint project between myself and Aeonic Exotics. She was bred by my dream bee male, so hopefully there’s a quad or two in these eight eggs!
Clutch number two is fully hatched! The pairing was Barnhart black pastel yellowbelly X lesser. Final tally is 1.0 black pastel yellowbelly lesser, 2.0 black pastel lessers, 1.0 black pastel yellowbelly, 0.1 black pastel, 0.1 lesser yellowbelly, and 1.0 lesser. A little male heavy, but I’m still pretty happy with the turnout! As a result, most of this clutch will be available once they start eating.
Well this was nice to wake up to! Now to figure out if the odd one is the triple… The parents of this clutch were Barnhart black pastel yellowbelly x lesser.
First combo out of the egg for clutch number two is this hot little Barnhart black pastel yellowbelly male!
Don’t make me get the spoon out…
Another ovulation! This black pastel girl was bred to my orange dream pinstripe. I think this triple could be interesting!
Clutch number two should be hatching in the next couple of days… looks like there might be something cool in here… 😉
First clutch of the year is fully hatched, and we managed to hit on a 1 in 16 snake in a five egg clutch! Unfortunately it was on the wrong end of the spectrum… instead of an orange dream spinner blast it was a normal. Otherwise the odds weren’t too bad. Ended up with 1.1 orange dream pins, 0.1 pinstripe, 0.1 spinner blast, and 0.1 normal.
Is this hot little orange dream pinstripe girl!
This is the pair of super enchi possible het hypo girls I produced in 2013, both weighing about 800 grams. I’ve got a pretty good feeling that at least one of them is carrying the hypo gene…
Didn’t get as much done today as I would have liked with having to go in to work this morning, but I did manage to get this rack built to replace some water damaged ones that have been out of commission. Guess today wasn’t totally unproductive!
