Just got this group packed up and shipped out! 1.1 enchi possible het hypo and 1.0 lesser platinum
With the blade gene getting more popular I see a lot of comments about it just looking like a normal. While it’s not necessarily eye popping on it’s own, it’s definitely not ‘just a normal.’ Here’s a comparison photo with a blade het clown next to a normal.
I really need to get into the habit of keeping the blog on here up to date with our Facebook page, especially with the coming changes to try and force business pages to pay for exposure.
I’m doing something a little different this year with the breeding projects page. Instead of updating it with every single pairing as it happens, I’m only going to be updating it with pairings that I know are going to result in a cluch. Generally this will mean that each specific pairing won’t go up until after the female has ovulated. With that said, I’ve got the breeding projects updated with the first three girls that have ovulated, but when I went to add the other 3 I realized I didn’t have any pictures of the females because they’re all first timers! As soon as they finish up their pre-lay sheds I’ll be getting some pictures of them so I can get those pairings up on the site.
In the meantime, here’s a picture of another first time girl that I’m hoping will go this year, an enchi het albino female at about 1800 grams.
Definitely my favorite hatches from 2013, an orange dream female and a super enchi female.
This little girl just had her prelay shed so it’s time to fire up the incubator! Should have our first clutch of 2014 in thirty days or so, and it’s got the potential to start the year off with a bang. This bumblebee was bred to my orange dream pinstripe.
